He is currently jailed on a $1.5 million bond.
Travis Gillis Incident detail
Travis Keith Gillis, 30, was booked to the Pitt County Detention Center under $ 1.5 million on July 2nd. He was charged with second degree murder and serious child abuse.
In a report published on April 30, Greenville Police Department, Isaiah Gillis died after being hospitalized with a serious head injury that he could not survive on April 23.
The release was sent to the Vidant Medical Center after receiving a potential child abuse case report from Greenville officers’ Pitt County Social Services Department.

In a press release in April, police said the Pitt County Medical Examination Office decided to murder the death of young children.
According to the court order, the charges and arrest stemmed from the indictment of the Pitt County grand jury. The order lists the crime date as April 22.
