Ohio State Highway Patrol confirmed that Stephen Jarrod Davis II arrested after a quick chase on Saturday morning on I-70 was a 17-year-old Maryland teenager who was accused of murdering his sister.

Stephen Jarrod Davis II, 17, from Anne Arundel County, Maryland, is facing murder charges in connection with the death of her 5-year-old half-sister Anaya Jannah Abdul, according to a report by the Anne Arundel County Police Department.

Police found the child’s body after answering the 4100 block of Apple Leaf Court in Pasadena, MD, just after 8:00 am on Saturday.

At 11:30 am, with the help of Ohio police, detectives were able to locate Davis in the Springfield area after a high-speed chase that started near I-70 at US 40.

According to OSHP, after a 20-mile chase, Davis’ car stopped and was safely detained on I-70 just west of I-675.
The autopsy, completed on Sunday, determined that Abdul died from multiple sharp force injuries and that his death was considered murder.

The AACPD said Davis is currently waiting to be sent to Maryland and will not incur any additional charges in Ohio.

Soldiers at the Springfield outpost of the Ohio State Highway Patrol arrested a person after a high-speed chase.
According to OSHP, the person driving the vehicle during the pursuit is also a suspect of murder.
Tracking started in the US 40 region near the I-70, and lawmakers continued to follow the vehicle, passing OH 72 and US 68 in the process.

According to OSHP, the suspected vehicle was stopped and the driver was detained on the I-70 just west of the I-675.
