According to the police, 8-year-old Secoriea Turner was shot while driving with her mother and an adult friend at Ave and I-75/85 University on Saturday. The driver was trying to enter a car park on a 1238 Pryor Road, where a group of people illegally placed barricades. According to the police, someone in the group that came to Turner fired on the vehicle.

“I want you to honor this baby’s life. Please, if you know who did this, please deliver it,” Bottoms said at a press conference Sunday.
“Enough is enough. We talked about this movement in America when we have ears and interests that say they want to see the change in this country and this world right now.”
However, Bottoms said the current situation is different when the civil rights movement has a “defined common enemy”.

On Sunday night, Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms detonated violent protesters.
The bottoms said that there were at least two shooters and that everyone with knowledge begged to stand out.
“I just want you to honor this baby’s life,” Bottoms said. “If you know who did this, please hand them over. These people are a danger to all of us. ”
