The single-vehicle accident that occurred on the flight line at Ali Al Salem Air Base is under investigation.

Ouellette was assigned to Westover Air Reserve Base in western Massachusetts.
“The whole of New Hampshire is mourning the death of Sergeant Major Ouellette, an American Hero whose service to our country will never be forgotten,” Governor Chris Sununu said in a statement. Our prayers are with his family.
