Chasing began about 30 minutes ago at Interstate 95 in Waterville. According to McCausland, another state police had stopped Belmain’s car, which reported that a green sports car without license plates was driving irregularly to the I-95 just south of Clinton.
Shortly after the car fell into Waterville, the police said Belmain was moving away quickly. The police then said they were heading towards I-95 and Route 3 in Augusta towards China.
McCausland said that speeds on both roads reached 100 mph and that the car fell after hitting Nunez.
