According to reports, two girls attending a birthday party in California were killed and three girls were injured.
12-year-old girls Elayna Saidee and 11-year-old Makeliah Osorno were victims of innocent gang violence in a backyard in Delano on Thursday night.


“This is a gang-style shot,” said Delano Police Chief Robert Nevarez to the station. “The suspect came to a tanned Toyota Corolla or Camry, and according to some witnesses, one person got out of the car and went to the courtyard and started shooting, and then quickly left.”

KERO-TV detected one of the victims, a 41-year-old woman who was shot in the leg. According to the station, Anabell Aguilar said it was for the son of the party in his backyard.

“My little nephew was exactly where I was sitting and it was terrible,” he said. “It was a scary thing.”
The woman said that she was the daughter of Makeliah’s best friend.
“The little girl was my friend’s little girl, the only girl without interest, but she was like my sister,” he said. “I’ve known him for over 30 years.”
Police said that an 18-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man were injured.
Nevarez told KGET that most of the people who attended the party refused to cooperate with the police.
