Larynzo Johnson, 26, was arrested for the police shooting on Wednesday night and was charged with two first-degree assaults on a police officer and 14 first-degree immoral danger – the second is the same charge against the single police. He will be charged for the murder of Taylor.
According to the Courier Journal, the statement of the arrest says that Johnson ‘deliberately used a pistol to fire multiple bullets at the officers … caused serious physical injury’.

What Police Chief Robert Schroeder said about Larynzo Johnson
Louisville Provisional Police Chief Robert Schroeder said the shooting of the two officers took place on Brook Street and Broadway at around 8.30 am when the officers were responding to a large crowd of demonstrators.
Both officers, whose identity could not be identified, were taken to Louisville University Hospital.
One of the officers was shot in the thigh, the other in the abdomen under his bulletproof vest. Both were stable and one was undergoing surgery last night.
“I am very worried about the safety of our officers,” Schroeder said at a press conference on Wednesday right after 10 pm.
Obviously, two of our policemen were shot tonight. This is a very serious and dangerous situation. I think the safety of our civil servants and the society we serve is extremely important. ‘
President Donald Trump soon took to Twitter and said he prayed for injured officers.
