A man who has been s*xually assaulted on a sports field in the north of Adelaide with a 10-year-old daughter was sentenced to more than four and a half years in prison – but he can apply to be released in less than half the time.
Nudge Paul Slattery called the crime “extremely disgusting” and said it was about Bahrami’s failure to explain his actions.

Bahrami was sentenced to four years and nine months in prison and three years to be released on parole.
Both were returned to the time Bahrami was detained in April 2019, meaning that in April 2022 he may be eligible for parole in less than two years.

In a victim effect statement, the girl’s mother wrote that the attack on her daughter left her family “unable to trust anyone”.
“The perpetrator was known to the community, so it was very disturbing,” he said.
“I feel like I don’t want to do anything with the community.
