Boylan was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Beaumont Hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Gardai and paramedics rushed to the scene around 5.15pm yesterday following reports of a shooting. Paramedics worked on Boylan at the scene before he was rushed to Beaumont Hospital via ambulance in a critical condition. He later died from his injuries, which included being shot in the head, according to sources.
Eoin Boylan Murder suspect gang
“The little gang is the main suspect here and he is suspected of hiring a famous criminal who is now in jail to kill him at his home in September,” said a close source.
“Boylan imagined himself to be a tough guy, and when Gardai stopped him, he was often in the company of two husky caretakers who were his bodyguards.”
“I knew that I was threatened by the little mafia and that I had stayed in hotels a lot in recent months.”
The sources also revealed that one of Boylan’s closest associates is under threat from a hijacked henchman, considered one of the capital’s most notorious hiring guns.
However, this was not studied as a reason for the shooting: the latest gun attack on Coolock’s deadly enmity, which has witnessed multiple murders and armed interventions by Gardai.
In May, the drug dealer Little was shot in the north of Dublin. A day later, the father of a man named Jordan Davis was shot in Darndale while pushing his son in a stroller.
The following week, Little’s partner, Hamid Sanambar (41), was shot in broad daylight outside Little’s home, where the mourners had gathered to pay tribute.
We’re trying to find out if Sanambar was killed for revenge for luring Little to his death.
