Ian Charles Schenkel, 59, from Newport Beach, was accused on Tuesday of prostituting a young girl, which includes two girls aged 15 and 16. According to the Orange County District Attorney, the woman, Amanda Emilia Perez, is accused of pimp and pandering for planning to bring underage girls to her for sex.

Charles Schenkel Police investigations
According to District Attorney officials, Newport Beach police began investigating Schenkel in October last year when a man reported that his teenage daughter had had inappropriate sexual contact with him. Prosecutors told police that Perez would take him to meet with men, including Schenkel, who would pay him to have sex, and that Perez would get a share of the money.

According to prosecutors, Perez has been accused of taking a second teenage girl to Schenkel and also taking a share of the money she gets to havewith her.
Charles Schenkel Bail
Schenkel was arrested and released after bail of $ 100,000. Prosecutors say it is also an open DUI case from November 2019 and an open case for hit-and-run driving with a suspended license from January.
Perez was arrested and released after bail of $ 70,000.
If Schenkel is convicted anyway, he faces a maximum of eight years in state prison and 728 days in prison. Perez faces a maximum sentence of 14 years and eight months in state prison if convicted similarly on all charges.
