In a statement, Fox News said that Ms. Holdu held a foreign law firm to investigate her allegations and determined that they were “wrong, patented, meaningless and completely devoid of any right.” Fox News made a statement on behalf of the network and also on behalf of Mr. Carlson, Mr. Hannity and Mr. Kurtz, who were also called defendants in the case.

The network did not object to Jennifer Eckhart‘s allegations against Mr. Henry: “As soon as Fox News finds out about Ms. Eckhart’s allegations on June 25, Mr. Henry is no longer employed by the network.

She contributed to Latina Style in 2001; she also contributed to People magazine and USA Weekend. In 2001 she founded Catalina, a magazine aimed at Hispanic women. Her book, Latino Wisdom, a collection of stories about America’s best-known Hispanic figures, was published by Barricade Books in 2006. Areu is the author of Latino Wisdom (2006).
Areu has appeared on Fox News’s Tucker Carlson Tonight (in a recurring 2018 segment as the “Liberal Sherpa” ), The O’Reilly Factor, and The Sean Hannity Show ; Prime News and Showbiz Tonight on HLN; AC360 and Campbell Brown on CNN; and MSNBC’s The Daily Rundown.
