Alecia Kitts and families
Kitts was sitting in the stands at the time, along with several other families and children, and witness footage quickly spread to social media.
Footage of the incident shows Kitts sitting next to his mother in a heated verbal argument with a police officer on face masks.
It is unclear what was initially said, but Kitts resists the arrest repeatedly as the officer tries to handcuff him.
‘Leave me!’ Kitts shouts. Get off me, sir! What is your problem? ‘
Fans on the booths turn their attention to contention as Kitts screams and a young boy begins to cry.
Kitts and the officer continue to grapple with each other until he asks Kitts to put his hands on his back.
“You’re not arresting me for nothing, I’m not doing anything wrong,” he shouted at the officer in response.
At one point, Kitts ‘body falls between two bleach seats, as the officer stands on him and desperately tries to handcuff him, and Kitts’ mother watches in shock.
After fighting for at least two minutes, the officer takes out the stone and places it on Kitts.
Kitts, still sitting in the stands, screams and nearby witnesses attack the officer.
One person says, ‘To entertain this lady because she’s not wearing a fucking mask.
Kitts’ mother tries to appeal to the police officer, saying “it’s just a mask”, but her daughter is detained.
While the officer escorts Kitts away from his middle school football game, he defiantly tries to hold onto the handrails despite being handcuffed.

The Marietta Times reported that Kitts had an American flag-themed face mask in his back pocket. He was cheering on behalf of the visitors at the Marietta City Schools match.
Theresa Schultheiss, Director of Logan Athletic, said that of the 300 people who participated in the game, only Kitts and his mother ‘had adaptation issues’.
‘This rule has been in place since we were told we could play,’ he said.
“Tonight we were reminded to everyone who came from the ticket sales, we had regular announcements over the PA reminding you that mouths and noses should be closed and we had signs in the bathrooms.
Cody Venderlic, MCS Director of Athletics, added that one of the biggest problems they have faced so far is the behavior of visitors and parents.
“I’m grateful that this wasn’t in Marietta, but Marietta caused it in Logan,” she told the Marietta Times.
“As athletic directors, we’ve talked about that, and the biggest challenge in visiting fans is that people behave much better at home than when they’re on the road.”
Will Hampton, Inspector of the Marietta City Schools, said he was ‘disappointed’ with the incident.
“If you choose not to wear a mask, you not only threaten our ability to play sports, but also jeopardize your ability to watch as a spectator,” he said.
Instead, we’re talking about a person who doesn’t follow the rules and shows himself. ‘
Alecia Kitts son and wife
Skylar Stewart, who had a son with Kitts, shared the video online and filed a complaint against the Logan Police Department about the incident.
According to Ohio’s COVID-19 control panel, Hocking County collected 161 confirmed cases of coronavirus, 24 hospitalizations and nine deaths.
