During the shooting on March 22, images of a topless Alissa covered in blood were seen in handcuffs.
Eyewitnesses said he remained silent as a tactically equipped man carefully caught his victims with a rifle in the parking lot before entering the store.
The Boulder Police Department confirmed that nine people died at the King Soopers convenience store on Table Mesa Drive.

Ali Aliwi, 34, told The Daily Beast that authorities searched her home all night after she was shot.

“While I was having lunch with my sister at a restaurant, he said,“ People are in the parking lot looking for me. ”He went out and there was nobody.
Ali admitted that he believed his brother was mentally ill and said, “We didn’t know what was going on in his head.”
Policeman Talley was the father of seven children at the age of five.
He was one of the first to arrive on the scene and was shot dead at 2:30 minutes as he entered to fight the killer, minutes after the attack began.
Mayor Sam Weaver described Talley as a truly heroic civil servant and said, “We can never thank Officer Talley or his family enough for his sacrifice.”

At a press conference Tuesday, Boulder Police Chief Maris Herold determined that the suspected gunman was 21-year-old Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa, a resident of Arvada (about 20 miles south of Boulder).
Alissa was charged with 10 first-degree murders of deadly shots, including the death of Boulder Police Department officer Eric Talley at a King Soopers convenience store in Boulder.
Police did not give a reason, but identified the names of 10 victims, aged between 20 and 65.
Boulder District Attorney Michael Dougherty said Alissa is still being treated at the hospital for a leg injury she suffered at the time of the shooting.
Police said his condition was stable and he would be transferred to Boulder County Prison soon.
“I want to tell the community that I am very sorry that this incident happened,” said Chief Herold, “and we will do everything in our power to have a thorough trial of this suspect and a thorough investigation.”

So far, the police have not provided any information about the cause of the incident. Herold said the officers were dispatched at 2:40 pm.
