Police said two people were arrested on Sunday in connection with the murder of an 18-year-old man in the Plano park early Saturday.

An 18-year-old was killed in a shooting at a park in Plano on Saturday, police said.
Police said they responded to a shooting at Jack Carter Park earlier that day. Officers learned that the victim was already in a hospital with a gunshot wound.

The victim, identified as Jacob Lyle Rusk, died of his injuries, police said. His death is being investigated as a homicide.

There are currently no suspects in custody as police continue to investigate.

At around 2:20 pm on Saturday, officers were called in to investigate the conflict that occurred at Jack Carter Park near Independence Parkway and Legacy Drive. Before they arrived, they learned that a teenager, later identified as Rusk, was injured and was in hospital. Rusk, a Plano resident, was later announced dead.

Patel and Al Dulaimi are being held on murder charges at the Collin County Detention Center in McKinney.
Police said on Sunday that Rusk was targeted in the crime and there was no danger to the public.
